Welcome to Village Tap, Chicago's premier neighborhood bar. Craft beer is not a new trend for us, it's something we've been focused on since the craft beer movement came onto the scene in Chicago shortly after we opened in June of 1990.Our 26 rotating drafts have an emphasis on local and domestic craft beers. We frequently host special events featuring a unique selection of specialty beers that we carefully collect for such annual events as our Stout Spectacular in January, Holiday Beer Roll Out in December, and Festival of Barrel Aged Beer event in November. 

In addition, we have a world class Beer Garden that has been recognized by Travel and Leisure, Fodors, Men's Fitness, and many local publications.

The ivy covered walls, large birch tree, and cozy fireplace offers a surprising oasis from the hustle and bustle of city life.
