Fall Festival of Beer & Cider Begins Thursday, October 2nd!!!!

Fall-Harvest-300x225The trees are changing color and the air is getting cool, it’s our favorite time of the year!!! Join us as we celebrate the onset of autumn with a special selection of beers to usher in the season.  You can expect a variety of Oktoberfest beers, pumpkin ales, fruit beer, ciders, beer brewed with yams and more.  The fun will begin on Thursday, October 2nd when we fling the doors open at 5pm and will continue as supplies last.  As always, Chef Julia will be preparing some great dishes providing the comfort we all need as we contemplate the prospects of winter looming around the corner.  The following will be served though not all at once:

Bell’s Octoberfest Beer, Kalamazoo, MI, 16oz, 5.5% – A flavorful session beer in the Oktoberfest style with notes of light caramel. Pint 5.50 / Pitcher 20 / 8oz 3

Great Lakes Oktoberfest, Cleveland, OH, 16oz, 6.5% – An amber Oktoberfest-style lager with rich malt flavor balanced by fragrant noble hops. Pint 5.50 / Pitcher 20 / 8oz 3

 Greenbush One and the Same, Sawyer, MI, 16oz, 6.5% – A refreshing raspberry ale. Pint 6 / Pitcher 22 / 8oz 3.25

 Half Acre Lager Town, Chicago, IL, 16oz, 6% – Half Acre’s version of the malt driven Oktoberfest-style beer. Pint 6 / Pitcher 22 / 8oz 3.25

 Metropolitan Heliostat, Chicago, IL, 12oz, 5% – A “Zwickelbier” or unfiltered lager to be enjoyed as though it came right out of the fermentor. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

 Revolution Oktoberfest, Chicago, IL, 16oz, 5.7% – A classic German-style Oktoberfest beer with toasty malt flavor. Pint 6 / Pitcher 22 / 8oz 3.25

 Seattle Cider PNW Berry, Seattle, WA, 12oz, 6.9% – Softly tart at the start, softly sweet at the finish a cider crafted with locally grown raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

 Southern Tier Pumking, Lakewood, NY, 12oz, 8.6% – An Imperial Pumpkin Ale with an aroma of pumpkin pie and flavors of vanilla, clove, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg & pie crust. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

 The Bruery Autumn Maple, Placentia, CA, 12oz, 10% – An autumn seasonal fermented with Belgian yeast and brewed with 17 lbs. of yams per barrel 
(in other words, a lot of yams!), as well as cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, molasses, and maple syrup. Glass 8.50 / 8oz 6

 Three Floyds Munsterfest, Munster, IN, 16oz, 6% – Bavarian-style Oktoberfest bier. Glass 6/ Pitcher 22 / 8oz 3.25

 Uncle John’s Perry Cider, St. John, MI, 12oz, 6.5% – A sparkling and semi-dry pear hard cider made from juicy Bartlett Pears grown in Michigan. Glass 8.50 / 8oz 6
