Founders Tap Takeover On-Going

On Thursday, September 14th we kicked-off a special tapping of several amazing beers from Founders Brewing of Grand Rapids, MI. The list included the following:

10k IPA,13oz, 9.1% – A notable imperial IPA not often found outside the Founders Tap Room in Grand Rapids.

All Day IPA,16oz, 4.7% – A session IPA with noticeable hop character. Pint 6.50 / Pitcher 24 / 3.50

2016 Backwoods Bastard, 6.5oz, 11.2% – A Scotch ale aged in oak bourbon barrels. Glass 6.50

MobCraft Aunt Hazel Release, Saturday, May 27th!!!

Join us for a special release party of MobCraft Brewing Aunt Hazel, a bourbon barrel aged imperial milk stout brewed with vanilla, cacao nibs and toasted hazelnuts. MobCraft of Milwaukee is a unique crowdsourced brewery where each month the crowd submits and votes on beer ideas. At the end of the month the beer with the most pre-orders wins and is brewed. Aunt Hazel was submitted by Leo, a patron of the Village Tap, so MobCraft is releasing the beer at the Tap on Saturday, May 27th. Hope you can join us!!!!

2016 Couldn’t Get a Ticket to FoBaB Barrel Aged Beer Event, Kicks off Thursday, Nov 10th.

barrel aged beer picIts that time of year when we roll out the barrels of barrel aged beer for our annual Couldn’t Get a Ticket to FoBaB Barrel Aged Beer event.  This is the event that always takes place on the Thursday prior to FoBaB, the annual Festival of Barrel and Wood Aged Beer put on by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild.  The Event kicks-off on Thursday but will continue into the weekend and following weeks as supplies last as this year we will have 20+ barrels along with some rare vintage bottles.
