2015 Stout Spectacular Kicks-Off Thursday, January 22nd!!!!

Come huddle around the fireplace and join us for this annual get-out-of-the-house winter event. This year we’ll be featuring 20+ stouts and porters including those listed below and we’ll be taping 13 at a time until supplies run out. Bring your appetite as Chef Julia and the kitchen crew will be firing up comfort food to compliment the beer.

Barrel Aged Stouts

Breckenridge 72, Denver, Co, 6oz, 7.2% – An imperial chocolate cream stout brewed with chocolate from Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and aged in Whiskey barrels. Glass 5

Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, Chicago, IL, 6oz, 14.3% – The mother of all bourbon barrel aged Imperial stouts, an intense mix of charred oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and smoke. Glass 6.50

Revolution Deth’s Tar, Chicago, IL, 6oz, 11.4% – A barrel aged Russian imperial oatmeal stout aged in two different types of bourbon barrels (Heaven Hill & Old Forester) then blended for the resulting thick and dark brew. Glass 6.50

4 Hands Bona Fide, St. Louis, MO, 12oz, 9% – An Imperial coffee stout made with local coffee roaster Goshen Coffee. Glass 8.50 / 8oz 6

Ballast Point Victory at Sea, San Diego, CA, 12oz, 10% – A coffee, vanilla, imperial American porter, rated 100 by Beer Advocate. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

Begyle Coffee Imperial Pajamas, Chicago, IL, 12oz, 9.8% – A local coffee infused imperial oatmeal stout that tastes like a chocolate covered coffee bean. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

Bell’s Cherry Stout, Kalamazoo, MI, 12oz, 7% – An American Stout brewed with tart cherries from Michigan that serve as counterpoint to chocolate notes from the malt bill. Glass 6.50 / 8oz 4.50

Bells Expedition Stout, Kalamazoo, MI, 12oz, 10.5% – A Russian Imperial Stout with a huge malt body and a heady blend of chocolate, dark fruits, and other aromas. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, Brooklyn, NY, 12oz, 10% – A Russian Imperial Stout achieving a luscious deep dark chocolate flavor through a blend of specially roasted malts. Glass 8 / 8oz 5.50

Half Acre Big Hugs, Chicago, IL, 12oz, 10% – An Imperial Stout with pronounced coffee, chocolate and vanilla flavors. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

Local Option Exorcist, Chicago, IL, 12oz, 8.5% – A foreign extra stout with notable hops that follow the flavors of dark chocolate malt. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

One Trick Pony Marsh Tacky, Lansing IL, 12oz, 6.2% – A hopped up and intensely roasted dark American stout. Glass 6.50 / 8oz 4.50

Pig Minds Joe Daddy, Machesney Park, IL, 12oz, 8.2% – An imperial coffee stout brewed with copious quantities of molasses, brown sugar and locally roasted Guatemalan coffee. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

Revolution Mad Cow, Chicago, IL, 12oz, 7.7% – A smooth milk stout. Glass 7.50 / 8oz 5.25

Revolution Rise, Chicago, IL, 12oz, 7.1% – An American Stout with notes of chocolate and coffee, loaded with Amarillo & Chinook hops. Glass 8.50 / 8oz 6

Southern Tier Choklat, Lakewood, NY, 12oz, 10% – An imperial stout brewed with chocolate with notes of sweet caramel, vanilla, dark cherries and a taste of bittersweet chocolate. Glass 8.50 / 8oz 6

Southern Tier Crème Brulee, Lakewood, NY, 12oz, 9.5% – An Imperial Milk Stout, nicely sweet and balanced, rich and milky with a nose of Crème Brulee and a flavor of caramelized sugar, vanilla and custard. Glass 8.50 / 8oz 6

Southern Tier Mokah, Lakewood, NY, 12oz, 11.2% – An imperial blended stout with a nose of rich coffee, syrupy chocolate and toasty malts and a flavor that follows. Glass 8.50 / 8oz 6

Southern Tier Warlock, Lakewood, NY, 12oz, 8.6% – An Imperial stout brewed with pumpkins with a flavor of pumpkin pie laced with coffee and dark chocolate and a smooth, velvety mouth-feel that finishes slightly sweet. Glass 7 / 8oz 5

Three Floyds Backmasking, Munster, IN, 12oz, 5.9% – A sweet oatmeal stout with a nose of chocolate and roasted malt and subtle coffee notes. Glass 8.50 / 8oz 6
